This film has been released entirely under Creative Commons for any commercial and non-commercial work. All associated assets and project files will also be released to encourage people to remix and repurpose as they see fit. I would like to see more film makers take this approach as I believe this is the next phase of film making where the director is the person who merely 'starts' the conversation instead of the 'final say' on any subject. I believe films should be open source to help motivate to the community to inject their own viewpoints on a subject and push the conversation forward.

Beeple is Mike Winkelmann, a graphic designer from Appleton, Wisconsin, USA. Despite his location outside any major media market, Mike has established himself as an influential voice working largely on graphic design, music videos, short films, and concert visuals. His short films and music videos have screened at onedotzero, Prix Ars Electronica, the Sydney Biennale, Ann Arbor Film Festival and many others.
